Prairie Sash - Small | Ceinture Fléchée Prairie - Petit

This sash is handmade on a loom using alpaca wool. The colours of the sash design represent the Prairies with the red representing the Red River, the white representing the snow of our harsh winters, the green representing the forest and fertility of the land and the yellow representing the fields. This sash also shares the same colour patterns as the French Manitoban and French Saskatchewan flags.

Cette ceinture fléchée est faite à la main sur un métier utilisant de la laine d’alpaga. Les couleurs de cette ceinture représentent les prairies. Le rouge représente la rivière Rouge, le blanc représente la neige de nos hivers sévères, le vert représente nos forêts ainsi que leur fertilité et le jaune représente nos champs. Cette ceinture partage aussi les couleurs de les drapeaux franco-manitobain et fransaskois.
