Collection: Metis

The Métis are an Indigenous people of mixed European and Indigenous ancestry and are one of the three constitutionally recognized Aboriginal peoples in Canada. Their historical homelands include Canada's three prairie provinces, as well as parts of British Columbia, the Northwest Territories, Northwest Ontario and the Northern United States, though they originated in Western Canada. 

The Metis people have their own history, culture, languages, flag and lifeways.
